Ouyang Nana, born June 15, 2000, is a singer, musician, and actress from Taiwan. Inspired by Mei-Ying Liao, she began playing guitar at the age of four, piano at five, and cello at six, earning various music awards from a young age.
She studied music at Dunhua Elementary School and the Affiliated Junior High School of National Taiwan Normal University, achieving honors such as winning a national competition and performing solo at the Concert Hall of Taiwan at the age of 12.
In 2013, Ouyang was accepted into the Curtis Institute of Music in Philadelphia, and she held successful concerts in Taiwan as well as performed in Japan. She left in 2015 to focus on her career in the entertainment industry.
Ouyang signed a contract with Mercury Classics and released her debut album 15 in 2015, followed by the album Cello Loves Disney in 2017. She also appeared at the Science Oscars alongside Wiz Khalifa.
In the acting world, Ouyang made her debut in the film Beijing Love Story (2014) and received a nomination for Best Supporting Actress in To the Fore. She also starred in Bleeding Steel alongside Jackie Chan.
Her career shone even brighter with a leading role in Secret Fruit (2017) and the drama The Great Ruler (2018) alongside Roy Wang, making her one of the talented young stars in Asia. Don't forget to listen to the duet of Nana and Chanyeol, if not now, when else?
