Jang Hansol Gives Tips on Speaking Korean at KLKF 2023 Surabaya, Not Recommended to Learn from Dramas!

Kapanlagi.com - The excitement of the KapanLagi Korean Festival (KLKF) 2023 Surabaya, which took place at Atrium Ciputra World, on Saturday (23/9/2023), was enhanced with the presence of Jang Hansol. Moreover, during the talk show and Q&A session, Hansol shared several interesting stories.

Not only stories, Hansol also gave tips for Kpoppers and fans who attended KLKF. The husband of Jeanette Ong shared advice on how to easily master the Korean language.

"Watching dramas and listening to songs doesn't really help improve the language. But watching variety shows seems to be helpful. Like Running Man, Knowing Brothers," said Hansol.

1. Reasons Why You Should Watch Varshow to Make Korean Language Easier

Hansol then explained why variety shows can help those who are learning Korean language to understand it better. Because in reality shows, the language used is similar to the one commonly used by Koreans in daily life.

"Basically, all those reality shows are helpful. At least by watching them, you will know 'Oh, in this kind of situation, it's appropriate to say this.' Unlike dramas and songs which use more poetic language, not everyday words," he explained.

2. Tips to Overcome Nervousness ala Hansol

During the Q&A session, one of the audience members who wanted to propose a seminar at campus asked for tips on how to overcome nervousness like Hansol, who was once nervous when meeting BTS. Upon receiving this question, Hansol himself was initially unsure how to answer it.

Although unsure, Hansol suggested learning from experience. He gave an example of himself learning from previous artist interviews for the next interview. So he had already anticipated what answers the artist would give, allowing him to know what to ask next and thus eliminating panic and nervousness.
