Wonyoung is a beautiful girl who was born in South Korea on August 31, 2004. She was also the youngest member of her former group, IZ*ONE.
When participating in Produce 48, Wonyoung managed to rank first in the event. With more than 338 thousand votes, she finally debuted with IZ*ONE and became the center.
Wonyoung herself is a trainee from Starship Entertainment agency. Before participating in produce 48, she was a trainee who underwent training for 1 year and 2 months.
Before debut, she also had a brilliant career. This is marked by Wonyoung being chosen as a Pepsi advertisement model and also becoming a model in the music video of the boy group YDPP.
Wonyoung is often nicknamed as the Giant Maknae. This is because even though she is the youngest member in IZ*ONE, she is also the tallest member in the group.
Wonyoung is the child of a couple with Taiwanese blood. Her father is a native Korean who grew up and lived in Taiwan, and her mother is a Korean descendant of Taiwan.
Currently, Wonyoung, along with Sunghoon from ENHYPEN, is actively serving as an MC on the weekly music show, Music Bank.
After IZ*ONE disbanded and their contract ended, Starship announced that Wonyoung would join their new girl group under the agency. The group is named IVE. Saa
