The talented actress, Kim Sae Ron, was found dead in her home in Seongdong-gu, Seoul, on Sunday, February 16, 2025, at the very young age of 24. After the initial investigation, the police confirmed that the death was caused by cardiac arrest in an extreme manner.
"As a note, up to this point, there are no signs of intrusion or suspicion of criminal activity at the scene," said the Seongdong police official as quoted by Sports Chosun, Monday (17/2/2025).

"We believe that the late Kim Sae Ron made an extreme choice, and we will treat this as a death case," he continued.
The police revealed that they have not found any will from the deceased. The police are also still considering the next steps in this investigation, including the possibility of conducting an autopsy.
