KINO Releases Single 'Freaky Love', Inspired by the Word 'Delulu' in TikTok Comments

"Not all feelings of love are heavy and serious, some are light and intuitive, can be one-sided love or simply without commitment, and this song is about that. I also always wanted to make a song with a simple and repetitive chorus, but only now I found the subject I wanted," said KINO.

1. Inspiration from Freaky Love

Unique, KINO got inspiration for Freaky Love from two things. First, the famous phrase from Korea, 'Even thought of getting married' and also comments on social media. So KINO suddenly found a new vocabulary on social media, 'delulu', while looking at comments on TikTok.

Then he remembered, in the real world or on social media, there are times when our heads are filled with thoughts of 'what if' and we release all fantasies from our minds. And this song captures the meaning of it all. Moreover, this song is also added with a sentence popularized by a single K-Pop in 2010.

2. Collaboration with GIPHY and Artist Jae In

To celebrate the release of this single, KINO collaborated with the largest GIF platform in the world, GIPHY, to create special stickers for Freaky Love. GIPHY itself has become a partner for artists and brands to show expressions on social media to be more expressive. KINO is now also adding enthusiasm to the GIPHY community and collection.

The song Freaky Love itself has upbeat music and is accompanied by a colorful animated MV by Korean artist, Jae In. Besides the accurate visualization of humorous lyrics, fans will also be happy to see the homage to pop culture in the video.
