Looking Stunning and Stylish, These South Korean Celebrities Have Attended Paris Fashion Week

Usually, this event invites hundreds of designers, both amateurs and professionals, to showcase their fashion designs in Paris. The beginning of Paris Fashion Week dates back to 1973, as an effort to divert the world's attention to the fashion industry in France. It is no wonder that Paris Fashion Week is a highly esteemed event for fashion enthusiasts worldwide.

This event is held every six months. There are several cities around the world that host similar events, such as London in England and Milan in Italy. Despite being held in Paris, Paris Fashion Week attracts numerous international celebrities, including South Korean stars. Some of the South Korean stars who participate in this event are:

1. BLACKPINK

BLACKPINK is one of the South Korean groups that often attend and enliven Paris Fashion Week. Especially in 2021, the four members of BLACKPINK are currently becoming brand ambassadors for several luxury brands from France. This is what makes the presence of BLACKPINK normal.

Not only in 2021, but the members of this famous South Korean girl group also frequently attended previous editions of Paris Fashion Week. Like Jennie BLACKPINK who attended Paris Fashion Week in 2018, Lisa BLACKPINK in 2019, Rose BLACKPINK in 2020, and Jisoo BLACKPINK in 2021.

2. Gong Yoo

Besides stars from the K-Pop industry, Korean celebrities from the film and drama industry also seem to have participated in Paris Fashion Week. One of them is Gong Yoo. One of the cameos in the Netflix series SQUID GAME attended the Louis Vuitton Spring 2020 fashion show at Place Dauphine on June 20, 2019.  

Gong Yoo appeared in a Louis Vuitton Spring 2019 men's outfit. He was seen wearing a black suit. The outfit, although plain and black, looked more stylish because it was an oversized style.  

3. Park Shin Hye

Park Shin Hye is one of the actresses who also attended Paris Fashion Week, specifically in 2019. She was invited by one of the world-famous fashion brands, Chanel. With that, Park Shin Hye also attended this Paris Fashion Week event wearing clothes from the brand.

She appeared at Paris Fashion Week 2019 in an all-white ensemble, from the top, skirt, to white heels. She also appeared with a simple wardrobe and elegant accessories.  

4. Mino WINNER

Mino WINNER is one of the K-Pop idols who has a quite eccentric style in the world of fashion. In fact, because of this, he was chosen to be one of the models showcasing clothing in this prestigious fashion event.

He attended the invitation to Paris Fashion Week in 2019 and became a fashion model for the famous brand Louis Vuitton. Many fashion media also highlighted and reviewed the presence of Mino WINNER as a surprising and impactful moment in the entertainment industry of South Korea and the world.

5. ITZY

Besides BLACKPINK, another K-Pop girl group that also attended Paris Fashion Week was ITZY. They also attended in the same year as Jennie and Lisa BLACKPINK, which was in 2019.

ITZY received an invitation from Louis Vuitton. They appeared in matching outfits for each member. They were also one of the attractions in this prestigious fashion event in the world, due to their popularity and beautiful and charming appearances.
