Luvita Ho reaches the Final 'Bite Me Sweet', with a chance to open a pop-up store in Singapore

Luvita Ho has advanced to the final round of Bite Me Sweet on Viu and now has the chance to take home the grand prize of an opportunity to open an exclusive pop-up store in Singapore. This cross-country dessert competition now only has two participants left, namely Luvita and pastry chef from the Philippines, Jessica Panoy.

Bite Me Sweet is a variety show that brings together five pastry chefs from Southeast Asia with five rising stars from South Korea as their muses. In this competition, participants are not only challenged to create desserts, but also to translate the character of their muses into their dishes.

Luvita is paired with actor Lee Saeon. Throughout the last few episodes, she has managed to overcome various challenges that require participants to develop desserts based on secret ingredients and different briefs in each round. During the challenges on the show, Luvita admitted that she has her own approach to developing desserts.

"Usually, I start with the visual first. From the visual, I usually continue with an analysis of the texture and flavor," said Luvita.

Luvita also admits to always looking for the reasons behind the creation of a dessert to understand why the dish is loved by many people.

"For me, understanding the reasons behind a recipe is like collecting data. This data is really important to help me get more ideas and reduce errors during the experimentation process," said Luvita.

Luvita continued to use this method throughout the competition until she successfully advanced to the final round. In addition to showcasing competition among chefs from Southeast Asia, Bite Me Sweet also combines elements of a Korean variety show through the interaction of participants and their muses.
