The first season of KINGDOM which aired in January last year left many mysteries. Many Korean drama lovers are curious about the continuation of KINGDOM in its second season. Interestingly, the curiosity is also felt by the closest people of the KINGDOM cast. Including friends and family of Joo Ji Hoon and Bae Doona.

Bae Doona admitted that her closest people are so enthusiastic about the story of KINGDOM. There are even many of them who are curious about the continuation of the zombie outbreak in the second season. The 40-year-old actress also admitted that she is happy because KINGDOM is so popular.

"Everyone around me contacted me with an extraordinary reaction. They are curious about what will happen next. All the crew there wanted to see the script that I held at that time. This is the first time that many people are curious about the next story. And I really enjoy and am happy with all of that," she said.

Meanwhile, Joo Ji Hoon admitted that he will buy a new television for his parents because they cannot watch KINGDOM on Netflix from the television at their home. "Honestly, my parents cannot watch Netflix even though there is a TV at home. I could teach them how, but it seems impossible. I will buy them a new television," said the 37-year-old actor.

2. KINGDOM Season 2 More Challenging for Ju Ji Hoon

Joo Ji Hoon tells that he has to do a lot of preparation like rehearsals. This is done to prevent unwanted incidents on the shooting location. The other most challenging thing is that he also has to get emotions even though he has to do action scenes.

"I did a lot of action scenes. I also prepared myself with a lot of rehearsals to prevent unwanted incidents, for example, someone getting injured while doing those scenes. Although this is an action scene, I also have to get deep emotions to get the feel of it during the action scenes by talking with the cast and director," said Joo Ji Hoon.

Joo Ji Hoon himself plays Lee Chang in the series KINGDOM. He faces a situation where the increasing number of zombie forces begins to threaten the safety of the kingdom and its people. Lee Chang is more determined to eliminate the Cho family from the kingdom. He invites people to help him reclaim his throne.
