Park Jin Young or J.Y. Park, a singer and producer as well as the founder of JYP Entertainment, recently donated 1 billion Won (approximately Rp 11.1 billion) for the medical expenses of underprivileged children. This donation marks the third consecutive year he has made the same contribution, with total donations reaching 3 billion Won since 2022.

On December 10, 2024, a donation handover ceremony took place at the JYP Entertainment headquarters in Seoul, attended by J.Y. Park and representatives from the recipient hospital.
In his speech, he stated, "As a father of two daughters, I often reflect on the struggles parents face when their child is sick, especially with financial challenges."
He hopes this donation can lighten the burden for families in need and promises to continue supporting more children in the future.
In addition to his personal contributions, J.Y. Park actively leads social initiatives through corporate campaigns such as "Every Dream Matters!" (EDM).
Under this campaign, JYP Entertainment has been running various projects to support treatment and fulfill the hopes of children with serious illnesses.
In the past year, JYP has also held charity basketball tournaments and plans to host an "EDM Day" event on December 24 to showcase their social contributions.
