Previously, Daisy cautioned that her answer is based on her two years of experience as an idol. So in her opinion, what she went through might be different from other idols.
Daisy said that as long as she is still with MOMOLAND, she only received a salary once when she was still actively being an idol.
All of this is because she had a debt to the agency when she was still a trainee. So when she debuted, she paid off her debt first before she could receive a salary.
Daisy's debt is around 150 thousand dollars (approximately Rp 2.4 billion) for the duration of her trainee period that had to be paid off before she could directly receive a salary.
Regarding the salary she received as an idol for two years compared to being a translator for two years, a freelancer can earn 1.3 times more.
Daisy works as a translator for Inkigayo and she thinks that the salary she receives as a translator in Korea is already very big.
Although her salary as an idol is not big, Daisy doesn't feel like she's being scammed because it's normal to owe the agency in the world of K-Pop.
Daisy now uses her money for college. She also earns income as a content creator. Daisy also makes sure that being a K-Pop idol is not that poor, so fans don't have to worry.
