Jung Yu Mi, a South Korean actress, is once again attracting public attention through her performance in the latest historical drama titled QUEEN WOO. This drama features a lineup of famous stars, including Jeon Jong Seo, Kim Moo Yeol, Ji Chang Wook, Lee Soo Hyuk, and Park Ji Hwan.

In QUEEN WOO, Jung Yu Mi plays the character Woo Soon, the sister of the main character Queen Woo, portrayed by Jeon Jong Seo. The character Woo Soon is known as the head palace maid famous for her beauty in the northern region.

From small roles to achieving status as a renowned actress, Jung Yu Mi has demonstrated her outstanding acting talent and received much recognition for her dedication to the world of acting.

According to MyDramaList, Jung Yu Mi was born on February 23, 1984, in Busan, South Korea. She began her acting career by appearing in a Lotte Xylitol commercial in 2003.

After that, Jung Yu Mi appeared in several TV series and films in minor roles, including SILMIDO (2003), THE GREATEST EXPECTATION (2003), and INTO THE MIRROR (2003).

The role that first made her widely known was when she played No Hyang Ki in the drama A THOUSAND DAYS' PROMISE in 2011. Her performance in the drama earned her the "New Star Award" at the SBS Drama Awards that same year.

After a successful debut, Jung Yu Mi's career continued to grow. In 2012, she once again captured public attention with her role as Hong Se Na in the popular drama ROOFTOP PRINCE.

In the following years, Jung Yu Mi continued to showcase her acting abilities through various major dramas. She appeared in WONDERFUL MAMA (2013), SIX FLYING DRAGONS (2015), and THE MASTER OF REVENGE (2016).

One of the most memorable roles was when she played Yeon Hee in  SIX FLYING DRAGONS. Her performance in the drama led her to win the "Excellent Actress" award at the APAN Star Awards 2016.
