Proven Positive for Drugs During Probation, Han Seo Hee Faces Imprisonment

Kapanlagi.com - Han Seo Hee was recently declared positive for drug use. In local news on Thursday (10/7/2020), it was reported that Han Seo Hee received a positive test result for illegal psychotropic substances on Tuesday (8/7/2020).

Previously, Han Seo Hee was sentenced to 4 years of probation after being found guilty of drug use since 2017. The South Korean Ministry of Justice requires every individual on probation for drug use cases to undergo tests once a month.

1. Prison Sentence Threat

Han Seo Hee was detained in a related facility after testing positive for illegal drugs in a surprise urine test conducted by the probation office under the Ministry of Justice.

Considering that this is Han Seo Hee's second violation during probation, she will face an investigation process and may even be sentenced to prison. Reports indicate that Han Seo Hee is likely to serve a three-year prison sentence because she tested positive during her previous drug-related probation period.

"Individuals who have undergone probation for a marijuana case can be tested unexpectedly during their probation. Moreover, if the individual tests positive in any of these tests, they must face an investigation by the prosecutor," said a city government official as quoted by Allkpop.

Since being declared positive for drugs for the second time, Han Seo Hee's Instagram account was immediately locked and inactive. It is worth noting that Han Seo Hee's name came into the spotlight after she claimed that one of the Big Bang members, T.O.P, offered her illegal drugs back in 2017 through her social media account. After that, she also accused YG Entertainment of interfering with the investigation into the drug case involving former iKON member B.I in early 2019.
