This is our official statement regarding a content about our artist, Taeyong, circulating online.

The individual who uploaded rumors about Taeyong's past and actions during high school online claimed to be an informant speaking on behalf of the victims, and they continuously uploaded unilateral and distorted claims that have not been confirmed.

Taeyong has sincerely apologized to the victims and provided compensation for his past mistakes. However, the informant continues to make unilateral claims using unclear and exaggerated facts to attack Taeyong. We have recognized this, but because the informant is a former classmate of Taeyong, there is consideration that secondary issues may affect his high school friends and related individuals. Taeyong himself has patiently endured this situation, considering that his high school classmates may be hurt.

Nevertheless, these unclear claims continue to emerge and spread, causing serious issues in the form of privacy violations, defamation, and slander, not only towards Taeyong but also towards his family. This situation has reached a point where we can no longer show tolerance to protect our artist.

Therefore, if malicious posts about Taeyong continue to appear, we will no longer ignore them and will take strong legal action to counter the defamation by the informant.
