Starring Choi Woo Shik & Son Seok Ku, Drama 'A KILLER PARADOX' Releases First Teaser

Kapanlagi.com - Netflix presents the latest Korean thriller series A KILLER PARADOX which will start airing on February 9, 2024. Starring Choi Woo Shik (PARASITE), Son Seok Ku (D.P.), and Lee Hee Joon (MISS BAEK) who have experience in the thriller genre, this series attempts to uncover what happens when someone accidentally kills a serial killer.

The teaser video launched today features snippets of the story of Lee Tang (Choi Woo Shik), an ordinary young man who is faced with a situation that transforms him into a serial killer and is hunted by a determined detective.

Choi Woo Shik undergoes a dramatic transformation in portraying Lee Tang. On one hand, he plays an ordinary college student, while on the other hand, viewers can witness his ruthlessness as a killer. Son Seok Ku plays Jang Nan Gam, a detective with sharp intuition who never gives up in achieving his goals. He brings forth a character with various conflicts within himself in the pursuit of hunting down Lee Tang.

A KILLER PARADOX is adapted from the webtoon Kkomabi with the same title, which has won numerous awards, including the New Artist Award at the Korea Contents Awards, Today's Korean Cartoon Award, and the Jury Prize at the Reader's Cartoon Grand Awards. With its sensational and often surprising storyline, the webtoon explores topics such as sin and punishment through Lee Tang, the vigilante who only kills criminals.

Fans eagerly await how this series will enrich the original work, which is also known for its detailed character portrayals. Renowned director Lee Chang Hee (HELL IS OTHER PEOPLE, THE VANISHED) collaborates with writer Kim Da Min, winner of the Gyeonggi Scenario Planning 2019 and Development Feature Category, to turn the webtoon into an exhilarating thriller series.
