Story of Hui Pentagon Singing Dangdut Together with Melly Lee, Mesmerized When First Hearing the Voice of the Dangdut Singer

Kapanlagi.com - Hui, one of the members of the Korean boyband, Pentagon, was paired with Melly Lee, a contestant from LIDA 2020, to collaborate in the latest program on Indosiar, DANGDUT KPOP 29THER.

Hui, who has visited Indonesia before, expressed his joy in being able to participate in the program.

"During the concert in Indonesia, I felt the love from the fans. With this (program), I can showcase the latest from me by performing a dangdut collaboration with this great dangdut singer," said Hui through Zoom, on Tuesday (24/10/2023).

Hui has been shooting with Melly for the DANGDUT KPOP 29THER program. He also shared the moment when he welcomed Melly Lee to Korea and went through the shooting process for the program.

"I am very happy and excited during the moments with Melly. I feel that our personalities and attitudes are similar," said Hui.

2. Challenged to Sing Dangdut Song

During the collaboration project, Hui admitted to being impressed by Melly's voice. Humbly, Hui felt honored to sing together with Melly. In this program, Hui was challenged to sing a dangdut song that has been rearranged with a K-Pop style.

"I am impressed and touched by Melly while singing. I feel honored to sing with Melly. The first time I heard Melly sing, I was truly amazed and we even played games together, the competition was quite tough. The memories still remain in my heart until now," he said.
