Netflix Original Korea is ready to release their new shows ranging from series, special episodes, films, to reality shows. They have partnered with a number of beloved popular stars.

The actors and actresses, scriptwriters, and directors involved in these new Netflix Original Korean shows also attended the virtual press conference held by Netflix SEE WHAT'S NEXT KOREA 2021 on Wednesday (25/2/2021). Netflix also released their cool line-up photos, although they appear together, the photos were taken separately according to Covid-19 protocols before being edited together.

Here is the lineup of shows that you must look forward to. Jung Hae In fans are ready to relieve their longing through the drama titled D.P.. This series is adapted from the webtoon by Kim Bo-tong, which has been viewed by more than 10 million people due to its realistic depiction of violence and human rights violations in the military, as well as its exploration of different themes through 'Deserter Pursuit' (D.P.).

Han So Hee is also ready to appear in her new series, MY NAME, alongside other stars such as Park Hee Soon, Ahn Bo Hyun, Kim Sang Ho, Lee Hak Ju, and Jang Yull. My Name follows the story of Ji-u, a woman who joins the police as a spy for a criminal organization to uncover the truth about her father's death. This original Netflix series will bring tension from Ji-u's revenge actions and various bitter truths revealed in the process.

Scheduled to air in mid-2021, Lee Je Hoon and Tang Jun Sang are ready to greet viewers through a series titled Move to Heaven. This original Netflix series tells the story of a young man with Asperger's syndrome named Geu-ru and his guardian named Sang-gu. They start a trauma cleaning business and uncover various stories left behind by the deceased.

Squid Game tells the story of people participating in a mysterious survival game with a prize of 40 million dollars. Viewers will be captivated by the desperation of the players and the various choices they have to make when pushed into extreme situations. This new series stars Lee Jung Jae and Park Hae Soo.

Love Alarm season 2 is one of the most anticipated original Netflix series. Ki So Hyun, Jung Ga Ram, and Song Kang will greet viewers with the continuation of this young love story on March 12, 2021. The second season will delve into the unresolved first love of Jojo, Sun-oh, and Hye-yeong, while also addressing various societal issues where the number of hearts received on Love Alarm can affect someone's social status.

Hellbound starring Yoo Ah In, Park Jeong Min, Kim Hyun Ju, Won Jin Ah, and Yang Ik June depicts the supernatural phenomenon experienced by people who are cursed to hell after an unexpected encounter with the angel of death. The series is adapted from the popular webtoon titled Hell published on Naver.

Another webtoon adaptation series that brings a zombie epidemic story to the audience is ALL OF US ARE DEAD, starring Yoon Chan Yeong, Park Ji Hu, Cho Yi Hyun, Lomon, and Yoo In Soo.

And not to be missed, the special episode KINGDOM: ASHIN OF THE NORTH, starring Gianna Jun (Jun Ji Hyun) and Park Byung Eun, is also ready to air. Kingdom: Ashin of the North is a spin-off sequel to the popular Korean zombie series Kingdom Season 2. This special episode will tell the backstory of 'Ashin,' a heir of the northern Jurchen city encountered by the Lee Chang group as they travel north to uncover the truth behind a plant that can resurrect the dead.

Netflix Original Korea also prepares a film titled Night In Paradise, scheduled to be released on April 9th. The film, starring Um Tae Goo, Heon Yeo Been, and Cha Seoung Won, tells the story of a man who becomes the target of a criminal group and a woman who faces a dead end in her life.

There is also an exciting show from Lee Su Geun called Lee Su-geun: The Sense Coach, a special stand-up comedy from Netflix that is packed with ad-lib jokes improvised by Lee Su-geun as he trains the audience who often feel pressured and constantly worried about what others think.

Next is a sitcom titled So Not Worth It, about students of various nationalities living together in an international dormitory at a university in Seoul. Park Se Wan, Shin Hyeon Seung, Choi Young Jae GOT7, Minnie (G)IDLE, and Han Hyun Min. Can you imagine how fun it would be?

Netflix is also ready to greet with their latest reality show called Paik's Spirit which will be starred by Paik Jong Won, where he will have conversations with various famous celebrities and professionals from various fields in Korea to discuss about drinking and life. Netflix collaborates with Paik to create his first reality show, where this restaurant owner will introduce alcoholic beverages, food, and Korean culture.
