The latest thrilling Korean action series A Shop For Killers is now exclusively streaming on Disney+ Hotstar. Starring fan-favorite actors Lee Dong Wook and Kim Hyejun, this eight-episode series tells the story of a college student named Jeong Jian as she fights to protect herself from a group of assassins who are after her, just hours after bidding her uncle farewell.

Adapted from the popular original novel by Kang Jiyoung, "A Shop For Killers" is set in modern Korea where Jian is determined to uncover the truth behind the mysterious death of her uncle, Jeong Jinman. She decides to return to her childhood home, but as she begins to uncover hidden information, a series of highly skilled assassins and killer drones start attacking her house. Jian starts to recall the valuable lessons taught by her uncle, and uses them to survive. Confused and cornered, Jian must quickly figure out the reasons behind the many people who are desperately trying to gain access to the house and the hidden weapons warehouse within.

Featuring an action-packed storyline that switches between the past and the present, the director of A SHOP FOR KILLERS, Lee Kwon, revealed, "When working on this series, I was careful to arrange the story in a way that doesn't alter its original plot. In the end, I chose a show-and-tell approach by gradually revealing pieces of the past that will provide explanations to the audience. In the action scenes, I also made sure that all movements are visible on camera, so I feel that capturing full shots can convey the impressive action atmosphere."

A SHOP FOR KILLERS tells the story of Jeong Jian (Kim Hye Jun) who has just lost her uncle, Jeong Jin Man (Lee Dong Wook), who has taken care of her since she was young. The story in the drama A SHOP FOR KILLERS contains many unexpected mysteries. Ji An's parents died in a tragic accident and she was then raised by her uncle.

Jeong Jin Man manages an ordinary shopping center, but after his death, Jian realizes that it is not an ordinary shopping center. Soon after learning that her uncle manages a secret organization disguised as a shopping center that sells weapons to assassins, Jian's life as an ordinary college student instantly changes 180 degrees after becoming the heir.

Because of the dangerous inheritance, she becomes the target of suspicious killers. Not to mention that Jian becomes a target for the killers, she has no choice but to fight. Thanks to the survival skills taught by her uncle, Jian survives to uncover the truth behind her uncle's death.
