The Korean Romantic Comedy Series 'LOVE YOUR ENEMY' Will Premiere on November 23, 2024

Kapanlagi.com - This fall, a pair of high school sweethearts will reunite 18 years after their bitter breakup in Love Your Enemy, a new romantic comedy series set to air on November 23, 2024, on Disney+ Hotstar.

Born on the same day, with the same name from rival families, Seok Jiwon and Yoon Jiwon face obstacles and fall in love with each other during their last summer in high school. A fiery romance from the start, a small misunderstanding leads to their breakup and taints their memories. 18 years later, Jiwon and Jiwon find themselves working together again, and old grudges start to resurface. Trying to undermine each other at every opportunity, the couple slowly begins to realize that there might be more to their feelings than just anger and hatred.

Starring Ju Ji Hoon (Light Shop, Blood Free) as Seok Jiwon, the President of Dokmok High School, and Jung Yumi (Discovery of Love, Train to Busan) as Yoon Jiwon, a Physical Education teacher at Dokmok High School, Love Your Enemy is written by Lim Yejin (The Tale of Nokdu) and directed by Park Joonhwa (What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim). Love Your Enemy is produced by Studio Dragon, a renowned story writing group in Korea.

To date, Disney+ Hotstar has released over 12 Korean series this year, building positive momentum from the APAC content lineup for 2023, featuring popular series including Moving, Big Bet, and The Worst of Evil. In 2024, the top-performing Korean titles on Disney+ Hotstar in the Asia Pacific region include A Shop for Killers, Blood Free, and Flex x Cop (based on view counts), with A Shop For Killers being the most-watched series on Disney+ Hotstar in the Asia Pacific region in 2024 so far (based on view counts).

Disney has also announced that several highly anticipated original Korean series are scheduled to premiere later this year, including Unmasked, Gangnam B-Side, and Light Shop, as well as dramas with quality storytelling supported by talented names in the upcoming 2025, including Tempest, Low Life, and Nine Puzzles.
