'THE WORLD OF THE MARRIED' Getting Hotter, Production Team: Remaining Episodes Will Be Rated Mature

Kapanlagi.com - Drama hits THE WORLD OF THE MARRIED which tells the story of a married couple who divorces due to an affair is getting hotter. The production team has decided that the remaining episodes of this hit drama will be given a mature rating (19+).

On Thursday (4/23), the production team of THE WORLD OF THE MARRIED stated, "Starting from episode 9 airing on April 24 until episode 16, the final episode, this drama will be rated 19+."

The second half of this drama will become more intense and dramatic as Lee Tae Oh (Park Hae Joon), the dark lover who eventually becomes his wife, Yeo Da Kyung (Han So Hee), feels panicked and jealous. Lee Tae Oh also plans to mentally torture his ex-wife, Ji Sun Woo (Kim Hee Ae).

The production team further explained that the upcoming episodes will be a turning point in the psychological conflict between Ji Sun Woo and Lee Tae Oh. In order to maximize the intensifying conflict, the production team has decided to give it an adult rating.

"In the second half, which marks the turning point of this drama, the psychological conflict between Ji Sun Woo and Lee Tae Oh will truly begin again. The changing relationships between the characters and the conflicts that occur among them will be revealed in a completely different situation. To capture the escalating conflict between the characters more realistically, we have chosen to give it a 19+ rating (for the remaining episodes)," the production team continued as quoted by Soompi (24/4).

The production team added that they are paying attention to the viewers' concerns about the airing of this drama. Previously, THE WORLD OF THE MARRIED received criticism for depicting violent scenes without warning at the beginning of its broadcast.
