TXT Successfully Debuts in Japan, Single MAGIC HOUR Achieves Gold Certification

Kapanlagi.com - TXT, which stands for Tomorrow X Together, is a boy group under the management of Big Hit Entertainment. The younger brother of BTS, they made their debut on March 4, 2019 with a mini album titled THE DREAM CHAPTER: STAR.

After their comeback with the full album THE DREAM CHAPTER: MAGIC in October 2019, this five-member boy group announced their debut plans in the land of the sakura. It seems that TXT's debut in Japan has been well received by fans, as they achieved a milestone in less than a month since their debut.

1. Achieve Gold Certificate from RIAJ

TXT's name is listed in the certificate recipients list published by RIAJ (Recording Industry Association of Japan). As reported by Soompi, TXT's debut single titled MAGIC HOUR has successfully obtained a gold certificate.

The gold certificate is awarded to albums and singles that have sold more than 100,000 copies cumulatively. In the list, TXT's name appears alongside Japanese singers, such as AKB48 and SixTONES.

2. Success as Newcomers

TXT is still considered newcomers in the Japanese music scene. Since their official debut in Japan on January 15, 2020, TXT has been busy with their schedules to appear in Japanese magazines and television programs.

The event held to release the single MAGIC HOUR at Roppongi Hills Arena in Tokyo was attended by 2000 enthusiastic fans. This single consists of three TXT songs, namely Run Away, Crown, and Angel or Devil Japanese versions. Congratulations to TXT!
