The rumors about the bullying emerged after a member of NWH:I spoke up about salary issues. One netizen asked about this on Vanesya's mother's Facebook page.

However, the response from Vanesya's mother was quite shocking. She admitted that her daughter never talked about this and instead mentioned fighting with another NWH:I member, Alice. "She is always happy during video calls, but when she fights with Alice, she keeps asking to go home," wrote the mother while replying to a comment on Facebook.

Vanessa's mother then replied to another comment stating that problems in the group are normal. Vanessa's mother then elaborated on the 'issues' between her daughter and Alice. "The problem is that Alice always wants to win. She keeps asking Vanesya to do this and that. Does she think Vanesya is a servant? She hits Vanesya, punches Vanesya, even breaking her fast. Alice shouldn't be like that. Even Vanesya's father never hits her. If it comes to physical violence, what's the point of being friends with her?"

This rumor apparently reached Vanesya's ears. Through a fan interaction platform, Vanesya denied everything. "We are fine. Please do not spread untrue rumors. I don’t know who is spreading them. Even if it’s my mom, there might be a misunderstanding. Please don’t create rumors like that. I truly have no issues with my older siblings."

Vanesya's mother then did not want to discuss this anymore. When there was a fan comment discussing the rumor about Vanesya's issues with Alice. "Sorry, I can't answer because my child is still there, I’m afraid something might happen there."

Vanesya also denied the rumor in an Instagram Story post. "I am fine with Sister Alice. We have never had any problems at all. I ask you all not to spread untrue rumors in the future."
