Yoo Yeon Seok, Jo Sung Suk - Jung Kyung Guesses the Premiere Rating of 'HOSPITAL PLAYLIST' Drama

Kapanlagi.com - tvN drama HOSPITAL PLAYLIST is directed by Shin Won Ho PD and written by Lee Woo Jung. Both of them have previously been involved in the Reply Series and Prison Playbook dramas. Apart from the fact that the director and writer have already captured the hearts of drama lovers with their previous works, this hospital playlist drama project is highly anticipated because of its cast, which includes Jo Jung Suk, Jung Kyung Ho, Yoo Yeon Seok, Kim Dae Myung, and Jeon Mi Do.

During the press conference held on Tuesday, March 10, 2020 at 2 PM Korean time or 14:00 WIB, the cast mentioned their predictions for the first episode's ratings. It's not easy to achieve high ratings on cable TV, but Shin PD's dramas are known for being successful and able to achieve high ratings.

Jung Kyung Ho and Kim Dae Myung confidently predicted ratings of 10.2% and 12% for the premiere episode. Yoo Yeon Seok and Jeon Mi Do mentioned figures of 8% and 9%. On the other hand, Jo Jung Suk mentioned a figure of 11%. Meanwhile, the director believed in a 4% rating for the first episode.

Director of Hospital Playlist, also known as Shin PD, has revealed his hopes. The drama he has created reminds him of the series F.R.I.E.N.D. The director and writer are also trying to provide entertaining content to the viewers.

"Lee Woo Jung once said to me like this, 'I think this will be like F.R.I.E.N.D' and hopes that this drama will become like the series F.R.I.E.N.D. We are also working hard to create a good story. Besides the many elements in this drama, that is the important point to remember in this drama," explained Shin PD.

2. The Story of Five Doctor Friendships

Hospital Playlist itself tells the story of the friendship of five doctors who have been friends since they entered Medical School in 1999. This drama is planned to have 12 episodes and will air on tvN starting from March 12, 2020.

Jo Jung Suk will play the role of Ik Joon, a hepatobiliary-pancreatic surgeon, Jung Kyung Ho as Joon Wan, a pediatric surgeon. Meanwhile, Yoo Yeon Seok, who has previously worked with Shin Won Ho PD in Reply 1994, will play the role of Jung Won, a pediatric surgeon.

Kim Dae Myung, an actor known for his role in Misaeng, will play Seok Hyung, an obstetrics and gynecology surgeon. And the only woman among them, Jeon Mi Do, will play the role of a neurosurgery professor named Song Hwa.
