Musician Indra Widjaya recently released two new songs sung together with his beloved wife, Dinda. What's special is that this release was packaged in a mini concert called Hari Merah Jambu, which was held on February 14, 2023, in Sulfat, Malang, East Java.
Based on coverage from the KapanLagi team, the audience who attended on Valentine's Day was very enthusiastic when Indra Widjaya performed his hit songs one by one.
Indra Widjaya & Dinda mentioned that they plan to release a mini album titled Hari Merah Jambu on March 7, 2023. The date was chosen because Indra & Dinda had their engagement and wedding on that date.
This husband and wife duo, who started as wedding singers, mentioned that their target audience for the songs in their album are people who are falling in love.
In total, there will be six songs in the mini album Hari Merah Jambu. In this concert, they will first release two songs titled 'Alunan Mempelai' and 'Marry Me, Will You?'.
To KapanLagi.com, Indra Widjaya, who also plays one of the characters in YOWIS BEN, admitted that he feels an extraordinary experience being able to perform together with his wife.
"It feels amazing. Pink Valentine's Day on February 14, 2023 is the first event that we specifically created for the launch of our two new songs. The enthusiasm of our relatives and friends who came truly made us feel relieved and motivated for our next career," said Indra Widjaya.
Regarding preparations, Indra admitted that he had actually planned this duet mini album a long time ago. However, some of those plans were delayed due to the pandemic.
"The preparations actually started since the release of our first single, 'Penenangku,' in 2019. Only when we got married on 10.10.2020, the release moment was hindered by the pandemic. So, when the President announced that the PPKM is over now, we just started moving," he added.
Interestingly, Indra Widjaya & Dinda never specifically mentioned Valentine's Day as a momentum to hold a concert and release their two latest singles.
"Actually, from the beginning we didn't mention the word 'Valentine's'. It just happened that people celebrate Valentine's Day on that date, and the theme is also Pink Day. So, we just chose that date," Indra continued.
After the concert in Malang, Indra Widjaya & Dinda will hold the Pink Day tour in other cities, along with several musicians with harmonious song themes.
