"It's a great loss. We can see that many musician friends were there. Indonesia has lost one of its best sons, in my opinion," said Awan.
Awan revealed that Ade Paloh's last performance with Sore Band in Pasar Baru Jakarta happened before Ramadan, when his health condition was still good.
"(The concert) was in Pasar Baru, not long ago. At Pos Bloc before fasting. No complaints, everything was normal," he said.
As a friend, Awan did not feel any premonition about Ade Paloh's departure. He said that Ade Paloh still radiated happiness and prayed for a peaceful passing.
"There weren't many signs or premonitions, just three days ago he was still doing interviews. Still joking around. Alhamdulillah, hopefully he has a good ending," said Awan Garnida.
Currently, Ade Paloh's body is still laid to rest at the funeral home in Lebak Bulus, South Jakarta. Based on the information on the announcement board, Ade Paloh will be buried at TPU Pondok Rangon, after Asr prayer.
