Agatha Pricilla Releases Mini Album 'ADRIANA', Dedicated to Her Mother

Kapanlagi.com - After releasing several singles, Agatha Pricilla finally released her first EP or mini album titled ADRIANA under the music label Sun Eater. The former member of Blink said that the process of making her mini album had actually been planned since 2021. But it can only be realized this year.

"This is an EP, the first mini album because it consists of five songs, so this is my first mini album and I'm really happy to finally release it at the right moment," said Agatha Pricilla when met in the Kemang area, South Jakarta, Thursday (25/5).

"This album was initiated since 2021 actually. So these songs were written since 2021. But finally, they were worked on as one album in January this year," she continued.

1. Dedicated to Her Mother

The mini album titled ADRIANA is apparently taken from the name of her beloved mother. Agatha Pricilla also dedicated this mini album to her mother. The five songs consisting of It's Coming Your Way, The Art Of Letting Go, One Day, Ruang, and Terang Usai Gulita are pieces of advice that Agatha Pricilla's mother has given her.

"Yes, that's right. This is an album dedicated to my mother, that's why the title of the mini album is ADRIANA, which is my mother's name. So the content is five songs and tells about the advice and advice from my mother. So it's like I want to frame her advice, her wisdom into one album and finally this ADRIANA album happened," she explained.

2. Very Close to Her Mother

Agatha Pricilla said that her relationship with her mother is very close. She can tell her mother anything. All the advice and suggestions from her mother always make her rise again.

"Because my mother and I are close, it can be said that she is a witness to the past. I always tell my mother everything, I'm very open with my mother. So every time there's a problem, for me personally her suggestions are the ones that can make me rise again the most. I want to tell people, I want to tell the community that this is really useful in my life and hopefully it can be useful for you too," said Agatha Pricilla.

3. Advice that is Always Remembered

Agatha Pricilla also remembers one very memorable advice from her mother which eventually became an inspiration for one of the songs in this mini album.

"I once told my mother that I couldn't forgive someone, then I said, 'Mom maybe later, I'll just wait for the right time'. So as time went by, I was able to forgive him. My mother said, 'You can't just wait, you have to decide when to forgive him, you can't just let it be because the wound won't heal, determine when you are sincerely ready to forgive him'," she explained.

"Oh that's true, you don't have to forgive him now, it's okay, determine when you're sincerely forgiving him, that's still up to you, not the timing, that's one of them," concluded Agatha Pricilla.
