Alex Teh Releases EP 'IN MY TWENTIES', Here's His Creative Process

Kapanlagi.com - Young singer Alex Teh officially released his latest EP titled IN MY TWENTIES on October 10, 2025. This release contains six songs with various stories behind the creation process. Previously, Alex held a hearing session on October 9, 2025, to share the stories behind his work.

During the event, the singer explained each song on the EP. He shared his collaborations with producers such as Rhesa Aditya and Will Mara. Each song discussed has a personal story that showcases Alex's honest side as a young musician.

1. 'IN MY TWENTIES' A New Musical Journey by Alex Teh in His Twenties

Alex Teh is a young singer who has been active in the music industry since 2020. He released his first single, Indecisive, which he wrote and produced himself. On October 10, 2025, he released his debut EP titled IN MY TWENTIES. This release contains six songs, namely I Love You So, Five, Wait a While, Blink, Amsterdam, and Messy In The Weather (feat. Adhitia Sofyan).

Through a hearing session, Alex explained each song in his EP. He also shared experiences and stories behind the creation of his work.

2. The Creative Process Behind the Songs of 'IN MY TWENTIES'

The second track in the EP IN MY TWENTIES is titled Five, produced by Alex along with Rhesa Aditya. Alex stated that this song also incorporates Rhesa's character. "The intention is more like I want to learn to produce a song... He is like an older brother to me, and when writing Five, I felt comfortable sharing with Mas Rhesa," said Alex when met in South Jakarta on Thursday (10/9/2025).

Rhesa Aditya added that IN MY TWENTIES has a consistent character line. According to him, from the beginning, Alex already had a strong musical identity, while the producers only helped to strengthen that identity. Thus, all the songs still sound like the artist's own work.

Alex also mentioned the song Blink, produced by Will Mara, which was originally written as a poem before being turned into a song. Will explained that Blink depicts someone in a coma who can only communicate through blinking. Finally, Alex talked about the song Amsterdam, which he wrote after breaking up with his childhood friend, depicting the loss of a very close friend.

The mini album IN MY TWENTIES was officially launched on October 10, 2025, and can be listened to on your favorite music platforms!
