Kapanlagi.com - Good news for rock music fans in the country. The American band, Avenged Sevenfold, is confirmed to greet its fans in Indonesia with a spectacular solo concert. This time, Ravel Entertainment has officially been appointed as the promoter bringing M. Shadows and the band to Jakarta.
The concert is planned to be held at Jakarta International Stadium (JIS) on October 10, 2026. The choice of this location is not without reason, considering the large fan base of the band that sings Dear God, which ranks first in the world in Indonesia.
Ravel Junardy, CEO of Ravel Entertainment, revealed the main reason behind the band's return. According to him, the band itself is very enthusiastic about returning to perform in front of its loyal supporters in Jakarta.
"It's very simple, their fanbase is number one in Indonesia. That's the biggest reason Avenged wants to come back to Indonesia because their number one fanbase is Avenged in Indonesia. Initially, they wanted to go to Hammersonic, but I thought, you don't fit in Hammersonic anymore, you should have your own stadium show," said Ravel Junardy when met in the Gandaria City area, South Jakarta, Tuesday (31/3/2026).
The promoter also explained why JIS was chosen as the concert location this time. After Avenged Sevenfold previously performed at the Madya Stadium in 2024, the promoter wants to provide a much higher quality standard and adequate facilities for the audience.
"Actually, the reason for choosing JIS is that we already know that this venue is the most proper for a stadium in Indonesia. Even now it can lead in Asia, one of them being JIS. We are now starting to try JIS and we want to deliver something different for Deadbat and also for Avenged Sevenfold's fans in Indonesia," said Ravel.
In addition, Avenged Sevenfold is said to be giving special treatment for their tour schedule in Asia. Indonesia is the first country to receive confirmation of the schedule before they release the schedule for other countries.
"What’s certain is that they told me they are very enthusiastic. They are very excited to have something new, they also really miss their fans in Indonesia. They feel that Indonesia is very special. In fact, they confirm Indonesia first as usual, before going to other places," he said.
For fans who want to witness this spectacular stage performance, tickets will go on sale in two phases. The Deathbat pre-sale will open on April 6, 2026, followed by general sales on April 8, 2026, at 1:00 PM WIB through the official website www.a7xindonesia.com. Ticket prices are set from Rp 665 thousand to Rp 2.55 million.
"Hopefully, it will be entertaining for everyone. I want to advance Jakarta, Indonesia, hopefully Avenged Sevenfold can come and be very, very successful and can continue smoothly. Don't forget to come, everyone," concluded Ravel.
