Beautiful Gift at the End of 2020, Fahem Releases Debut EP IN RELATIONSHIP WITH MEMORIES

Kapanlagi.com - After four singles that caught the attention of the public, Malang-based soloist named Fahem finally releases his first EP titled IN RELATIONSHIP WITH MEMORIES. This 5-track mini album can now be enjoyed on various digital platforms such as Spotify, Apple Music, and others starting from December 25, 2020.

As previously known, Fahem chose to release each material in his EP one by one. He breakdown the five songs and formed them into a series of chapters in one complete unit. The guy who is also the frontman of the band Morisade started with Unconditional Love (August), continued with Another Pills and Empty Space (October), and Pool of Regrets (November).

The epilogue? A final song titled Contagious.

"Contagious is like the after-effect of all the pain and guilt that happened before. It tells the story of someone's escape from a love relationship that they once glorified, before everything ends and falls apart. Its darker side, the narrator doesn't want to enter into a serious relationship. Well, because they don't want to experience the pain of the past." Something like, 'Well, why be serious? After all, no one stays in the end,' said the singer born in Bogor, 26 years ago.

Consistently presenting visualizations in every song, Fahem also released this single with a music video (MV).Virga Prayogo, Fahem's partner-in-crime in every previous release, was trusted again to work on this MV.

'This time, the visuals are more focused on the female cast, I want to depict the confusion in a relationship that is uncertain. Starting from the essence of the lyrics of Contagious itself,' said Virga.

Like the previous four singles, this song was written by Fahem himself. Meanwhile, Bambang Setyo Utomo is still loyal to sit in the arranger and programming seat, accompanied by Zeruya Anggraita in mixing and mastering desk. The entire process was carried out at Up Music Production, Malang.

As a conclusion, this EP is solid proof of the existence and consistency of a man named Mohammad Irfan Fahmi. It's quite interesting to see where it will go from here. Moreover, it is also known that he has started preparing for 2021.
