6 Wild Card Recipients of Indonesian Idol Special Season Will Compete for Tickets to the Final Showcase

Kapanlagi.com - On Monday night (12/21), Indonesian Idol Special Season entered Showcase 3. On that occasion, Happy's journey had to stop because she received the lowest voting results. Meanwhile, Dewanda Pratama and Jemmah Cita, who also received the lowest votes, still have the opportunity to advance to the next round after receiving a wild card from the judges.

A total of 7 contestants performed in Showcase 3. They are Dewanda, Kirana, Karen, Happy, Ramanda, Jemimah, and Fitri. Each of them successfully gave an extraordinary performance.

Indonesian Idol itself was colored by the comeback of Daniel Mananta as the host, replacing Boy William who was unable to attend temporarily. Of course, this became a longing remedy for the judges and viewers.

Dewanda opens Indonesian Idol Special Season Showcase 3 with the song Bukan Cinta Biasa popularized by Siti Nurhaliza. Her extraordinary performance successfully mesmerizes the judges, as shown by Titi DJ.

"You're amazing. This song is not easy, it's very difficult. You sing this song smoothly and beautifully, and I can feel it. I can feel you singing this song wholeheartedly. As an opener, you're really successful," praises Titi DJ.

Standing ovation is given by the judges when they see the performance of the 3rd contestant, Karen. On that occasion, Karen sings the song Sampai Jadi Debu by Banda Neira.

"You're extraordinary in singing this song, I can feel the beauty of this song. Your performance today is really good, very extraordinary," says Anang.

Fitri, who is chosen as the concert's closing act, also successfully receives standing ovation from all 5 judges when she sings the song Terjebak Nostalgia.

"You sing the song Terjebak Nostalgia as yourself, your power is also extraordinary. I'm amazed and impressed by your extraordinary voice," says Titi DJ.

2. Jemimah and Dewanda Receive Wild Card

Finally, we have reached the end of the event to determine the eliminated contestant tonight. Host Daniel Mananta announced that the three contestants with the lowest votes are Jemimah, Happy, and Dewanda.

Next, the judges have the right to use 2 wild cards to give Dewanda and Jemimah a chance. This means that Happy's journey must come to an end on Indonesian Idol Special Show.

Meanwhile, Dewanda and Jemimah will perform again tonight in the Wild Card round. They will compete with other wild card recipients, namely Rimar, Femila Sinukaban, Sharen Fernandez, and Kelvin Jojo, to compete for a ticket to the Final Showcase round.
