Because of the Husband and Wife Status, More on Mumbles is Often Said to Resemble Endah N Rhesa

Kapanlagi.com - The duo from Yogyakarta, More on Mumbles, has attracted the attention of Indonesian music lovers. Apart from their works, the concept of this husband and wife duo reminds music lovers of Endah N Rhesa.

Just like Endah N Rhesa, More on Mumbles consists of Awan (guitar) and Lintang (vocals) as a married couple. Lintang also doesn't deny that they are often compared to Endah N Rhesa because they are a married couple.

"If people say we are like Endah N Rhesa because we are a married couple, it happens a lot. But it's actually not a problem," said Lintang when met in the Ampera area, South Jakarta, not long ago.

1. Called Similar to Stars and Rabbit

Not only often compared to Endah N Rhesa, More On Mumbles also has similarities with another duo, Stars and Rabbit. "But actually, it's more often said that we are similar to Stars and Rabbit. Because maybe my singing style is expressive like Elda (vocalist of Stars and Rabbit)," said Lintang.

More on Mumbles embarked on a journey in the Indonesian music industry with the single Good For You under the auspices of Sony Music Entertainment Indonesia (SMEI). Previously, More on Mumbles had released singles and even albums independently.

When they received an offer to join SMEI, Awan and Lintang didn't hesitate. Currently, they are already experiencing the benefits of joining a major label like SMEI.

2. Broader

"More energy to talk about music. Because when we think about how to sell, how to approach the media, now we are only asked to focus on managing music," said Awan.

In addition, Lintang also admitted that by joining SMEI, their listener coverage is wider. "That's right, because the label's reach is farther than ours so far. So we are helped to reach listeners that we ourselves cannot. That's what we really feel," he explained.

3. There Are 10 Songs

Currently, together with SMEI, More on Mumbles is preparing an album that is planned to be released at the end of this year. All the songs in the album will contain 10 songs, where the common thread is about parting with a friend.

"So these 10 songs depict the emotional phases when we lose or part with that friend. At first, it's like not accepting it. Then in other songs, there are different feelings," said Awan.
