"I was really shocked because I didn't expect it to be like this and thank God all the comments are positive, it's something new for me because I can also explore with this," she said.

In addition, Amel admitted that there haven't been many changes when she became known by many people. However, when her activities went viral, Amel Amilia's activities increased.

"Thank God, nothing has changed, it's still the same as usual, but maybe there are additional activities. I meet many new people, get to know more people, and so on," she said.

Amel Amilia became viral after a TikTok video of her photoshoot went viral, showing her striking resemblance to the late Nike Ardilla. Of course, the appearance of this 18-year-old girl caused a sensation in the online world.

Even fans, friends, and Nike Ardilla's mother were initially skeptical. Because Amel's face really resembles the singer of the song "Bintang Kehidupan".

However, there were both pros and cons when Amel Amilia appeared in public. Negative comments also emerged to comment on Amel Amilia's resemblance to the late Nike Ardilla.

"In my opinion, that's normal because it's bound to happen, and I take the positive side of it, as feedback, encouragement, and motivation for me," said Amel Amilia.

Amel also mentioned one of the negative comments she received. Amel said that many netizens said she was trying too hard to resemble the late Nike Ardilla.

"Maybe I tried too hard to be like her even though I am already myself, but it's okay, it's their right to have an opinion," she said.
