Album 'Bintang Kehidupan' Re-released to Commemorate 45 Years of Nike Ardilla

Kapanlagi.com - To celebrate Nike Ardilla's 45th birthday, Musica Studios released a vinyl album BINTANG KEHIDUPAN which was a famous album by Nike Ardilla in 1990. At that time, this album was successful in the music scene in Indonesia and Southeast Asia, selling more than six million copies.

Not only that, this album also received an award from BASF Awards 1990 as The Best Selling Rock Album. Then at the Asian Song Festival 1991 in Shanghai, China, Nike Ardilla also won The Winner Of New Singers Contest by performing the song "Star Of Life" (English Version of Bintang Kehidupan).

In the making of this album, Nike was assisted by renowned Indonesian musicians and songwriters such as Deddy Dores, Pance F Pondaag, Deddy Dhukun, Dommy Allen, and others. In addition to the song Bintang Kehidupan (Star of Life), this album also features radio hits Khayal (Imagination), Terserah (Up to You), and Kelam (Dark).

Furthermore, Musica Studios producer Indrawati Widjaja stated that they released the vinyl of Bintang Kehidupan to fulfill the requests of Nike Ardilla's fans. The vinyl or black disc album is also printed in limited quantities for Nike Ardilla's fans.

"Honestly, it's a request from Nike's official fan club. We are trying to fulfill their wishes," said Indrawati Widjaja in a virtual press conference on Monday (28/12).

"This is printed in a limited edition," she added.

2. Virtual Concert?

After releasing the album Bintang Kehidupan, it is not impossible whether there will be a virtual concert to commemorate Nike Ardilla in 2021. However, Indrawati Widjaja is reluctant to reveal the plan.

"It will be in 2021, but I can't disclose it yet, just wait," she said.
