Comeback, SamSonS Bring Refreshing Appearance and Music in New Formation

This time, the group led by Irfan Aulia (guitar), Erik Partogi (guitar), and Aldri Dataviadi (bass), brings a different musical atmosphere by collaborating with a new vocalist, Adrian Martadinata.

"We are almost 20 years old. If humans go to college at this phase. With our growth in this industry, the market has also changed. This new format is a refreshing change for us," said Irfan in the Kalibata area, not long ago.

Adrian Martadinata himself is not a newcomer in the country's music industry and is a talented musician and songwriter who has produced hits such as Ajari Aku and Ku Ingin Kau Tahu.

1. Not Immediately Accepting Offers

Adrian Martadinata did not immediately join the band. He did not immediately accept Irfan and friends' proposal. Moreover, SamSonS has become a big band and he also does not want to just fill the vocalist vacancy.

"Currently, we want to find a new member who not only can sing but also contribute to the band. He is also a single maker, so he can interpret the songs we give faster," said Irfan.

2. Contributing to the Band

Adrian Martadinata's contribution and the upcoming refreshment in the SamSonS band will be realized through a new song that is being prepared as the first single with this new format. Adrian Martadinata's presence is able to bring a new "sound" that is combined with SamSonS' main characteristic, which is the majestic sound of strings/orchestra instruments. It will also be presented nicely in this new single and wrapped in a medium-upbeat arrangement.

"I asked Irfan why he chose me, why he didn't choose a younger singer. He said he just wanted to find a bandmate who can have fun," explained Adrian Martadinata.

3. New Song Collaboration

For SamSonS' latest song, it seems they won't be alone, an extraordinary collaboration will take place. Yup, Budapest Scoring Symphonic Orchestra and Ted Jensen, a world-class Mastering Engineer, are also trusted to collaborate on this new song. The plan is to release this new song on March 25th.

"Finally, I asked to listen to their song. I didn't want to eliminate the distinctive characteristics that have been attached to SamSonS. From the simple demo given by Irfan, I tried to add a different touch," said Adrian Martadinata.

4. First Performance with a New Format

SamSonS fans must be even more excited. Not playing around, SamSonS' first stage with a new format will be presented at BNI Mandalika Music Vibes on March 19-20, 2022. This event is part of the Pertamina Grandprix of Indonesia on March 18-20, 2022. The audience attending Mandalika Music Vibes will have the opportunity to listen to SamSonS' new single for the first time.

"We're definitely very happy. We're making a comeback in an international event. That will give us a special adrenaline rush," Irfan concluded.
