Continue Consistency in Working in the Indonesian Music Industry, Fatin Releases 'Jangan Tersesat, Sayang'

Kapanlagi.com - Continuing her consistency in the Indonesian music industry, Fatin now presents her latest track titled Jangan Tersesat, Sayang. In this song, Fatin herself took part in writing the lyrics.

Not alone, in the process of making the song, Fatin was accompanied by renowned songwriters and music producers Bianca Nelwan and Dimas Wibisana. The two of them, joined together as a unit called BIANCADIMAS, have collaborated with the most productive pop musicians in the industry such as Suara Kayu, Syifa Hadju, and Prinsa Mandagie.

This 4-minute and 15-second pop ballad is packaged as Fatin's declaration of love and virtue for someone (or something) that is very important in her life.

It is not an exaggeration to call Jangan Tersesat, Sayang a rhapsody that summarizes Fatin's entire journey in creating music, especially since she made a breakthrough in the Indonesian music industry thanks to her victory in the talent search competition X Factor Indonesia in 2012. If music listeners pay close attention to the lyrics of Jangan Tersesat, Sayang, Fatin also includes a shout-out to some of her notable works such as Jingga and Dia Dia Dia.

"Life has taught me that sometimes, all kinds of busyness and fatigue we face in the world actually make our hearts and souls feel 'far' from ourselves," said the winner of the AMI Awards.

"There are always moments when we start to forget our life's purpose and what truly matters in our lives. In my eyes, the song 'Don't Get Lost, Darling' serves as a warm reminder for myself and everyone who listens that, whatever our life journey is, don't let fatigue and tiredness make us lose our direction," she added.

In addition, 'Don't Get Lost, Darling' marks an extra special experience for Fatin.

"This song is truly a 'first' for me. This is the first time I have created a work that focuses on self-love. Then, this is the first time I have collaborated with Bianca Nelwan and Dimas Wibisana. Lastly, I consider this the first time I have worked on a project that is 'flexible' in nature. I believe that listeners of the song 'Jangan Tersesat, Sayang' can understand the emotions conveyed by this song regardless of where they are in their journey of life," she said.

Jangan Tersesat, Sayang is a statement from Fatin in this new era. Previously, she released Ingin Bertemu Lagi in January 2022. She also collaborated with Ghea Indrawari on Bukan Kamu and released a solo work titled Menjelang Pagi.

Jangan Tersesat, Sayang by FATIN is released under the Sony Music Entertainment Indonesia label and can be streamed on all digital streaming platforms (DSP) on November 30, 2023.
