Continue Existence, Legendary Group Chaseiro Forms New Chaseiro

Kapanlagi.com - Formed in 1978, the music group Chaseiro has released many songs. Now, the group that used to consist of Candra Darusman, Helmie Indrakesuma, Aswin Sastrowardoyo, Edi Hudioro, Irwan Indrakesuma, Rizali Indrakesuma, and Omen Soni Sontani, has a new generation.

In order to continue the existence of Chaseiro in the music industry, a New Chaseiro was formed, which is composed of four young men: Rafi Sudirman, Albert Fakdawer, Kafin Sulthan, and Rwga Dauna.

Interestingly, the four members of New Chaseiro are not descendants of the original members, but were chosen through auditions.

1. Want to Learn

"When choosing these children, we were also helped by Nino RAN. We initially wanted to hold an open audition, but in the end, this is the one we chose. Not only do they have vocal abilities and can play instruments, these children are humble and willing to learn. That is certainly the most important criteria," said Candra Darusman in the Cipulir area, South Jakarta, on Monday (3/7/2023).

New Chaseiro has already produced a mini album (EP) released this year entitled 'New Chaseiro' which contains five songs with three new songs and two original Chaseiro songs in new arrangements.

2. Fresh Music Color

"The EP New Chaseiro comes with a fresh music color and pure arrangements from the four New Chaseiro members.

The combination of music arrangements and vocal harmony as well as lyrics in both new and old songs, creates a unique story and beauty in every song presented by New Chaseiro," said Candra Darusman.
