First Time Creating an Outdoor Show, JKT48 Invites Wota to Get Wet - Bringing Melody

Kapanlagi.com - Idol group JKT48 held a show titled JKT48 summer festival at Tennis Outdoor Senayan. As the theme suggests, at around 15:15 WIB, the show began with all members performing four songs, namely Manatsu no Sounds Good! (Good Sounds of Summer!), Nagiichi (The Prettiest Girl by the Beach), Gokigen Naname na Mermaid (A Sad Mermaid), and Melon Juice.

Despite the scorching sun, the Wota remained enthusiastic, bringing small fans and towels. The JKT48 members wore bright summer-themed costumes.

1. First Time Performance

Indeed, this outdoor performance is the first time JKT48 has done it. That's why the members are very enthusiastic in entertaining the wotas who remain enthusiastic despite the scorching heat.

"This is also our first time having a concert at the outdoor tennis court in Senayan," said Adzana Shaliha, also known as Ashel, from the stage on Sunday (2/7/2023).

In the next song, the wotas are still enthusiastic and singing along with the single unit song. The wotas in the stands and in front of the stage sing along.

2. Many Interactions Occurred

In that performance, the JKT48 members also interacted after singing and dancing. In fact, a game was also presented while discussing what activities they did during the summer.

"If you become the organizer of a summer event, what event would you create?" asked Febriola Sinambela, also known as Olla.

"If I were to create one, I would have a cruise ship with a swimming pool," replied Gabriela Abigail, also known as Ella.

"I want something like a summer festival, but instead of on land, I want it to be on water," added Marsha Lenathea.

3. The Most Exciting and Memorable Moment

The most exciting and memorable moment happened when JKT48 members performed the songs JKT Festival and Cowok Durian. Some members went down from the stage while spraying the wotas with water guns.

The wotas who were hit by the water screamed with joy, and many captured that moment, even though they got a little wet from the water.

4. Melody's Appearance

A surprise also occurred when the 11th generation performed Kitagawa Kenji. Melody Nurramdhani Laksani appeared singing and dancing along with them, wearing a white school uniform.

"Were you surprised to see Kak Melody?" Shani Indira Natio asked the audience.

"Who misses Kak Melody?" Shania Gracia added.

It is known that according to JKT48 Official Team data, this performance was watched by 3,500 fans at Tennis Outdoor Senayan and 5,000 tickets via live streaming. The performance also took place in two sessions, the first at 15.00 and the second at 18.30 WIB.
