Delayed by the Pandemic, Rheno Poetiray Finally Releases His Latest Single 'Diam'

Kapanlagi.com - After releasing his debut song titled Mengincarmu in 2019, Rheno Poetiray finally releases his second single titled Diam this year.

The gap between his first single and this latest single is quite long, around a year. Rheno Poetiray also revealed that the release of the single Diam was delayed due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

"Actually, from the beginning of last year before the pandemic, me and the team had been working on the second single. We were about to start recording the music but because of the pandemic and many revisions, we had to postpone it until it was finally ready and we released this song Diam," said Rheno Poetiray during a virtual press conference on Thursday (22/10).

1. Story About the Song's Lyrics

The younger sister of Geisha's vocalist, Regina Poetiray, also shared the story behind the lyrics created by Zack (The Jackman).

"This song tells the story of me telling my partner to speak up, don't just stay silent. I don't know why they are silent, so I finally beg them to speak. From my perspective, as a guy, it's a bit frustrating to be ignored without any reason, I'm confused about what to do, so in the end, I can only stay silent," he explained.

2. Satisfied with the Song

He feels very satisfied with his latest single. As for plans to make an album, Rheno Poetiray still wants to gather more works.

"I'm very satisfied because the result is great and the song is amazing. I've thought about making an album, but not in the near future. Maybe in a few more years, I'll gather more works first," concluded Rheno Poetiray.
