Kapanlagi.com - Senior singer Dik Doank in recent years has chosen to migrate and focus on preaching. But this time, the 52-year-old man decided to make a comeback to the Indonesian music industry through a band named Go'A.
No joke, this band is led by a number of top musicians, including Dik Doank (vocals), Agus Idwar (vocalist of SNADA), witaAJA (vocals), Dewa (guitarist of Geisha), Anwar (bassist of Powerslaves), El (drummer of Ada Band), Dede (Keyboardist of Asbak). Interestingly, this time Dik Doank and his team bring religious music as the genre of their latest band.
"Go'A means Go to Allah. Knowing Allah comes in layers, there are those who listen to preaching, shalawat, music, so we combine all of that into a complete whole," explained Dik Doank about the meaning behind the name of his band.

Furthermore, Agus Idwar explained the process of their meeting and the decision to form the band Go'A. It turns out that it all started from their togetherness during their preaching journeys in various places.
"Actually, the journey of the Go'A group started from our dakwah safari together in several places, starting from last year. Well, from that journey, because we have the same background in art, sometimes we sing, sometimes we recite prayers, and finally we thought, let's make a religious music band," explained Agus.
"It's not possible to form a band with just the three of us, so in the end we met with Bang El (drummer of Ada Band), Bang Anwar (bassist of Powerslaves), and this extraordinary Wita. She is a woman who has been nurtured by Om Dik since childhood, so vocally we already match," he added.
Last Monday (12/4/2021), Go'A introduced their debut single titled Tetap Ramadan. For those of you who are curious, the song along with its music video can already be watched on the Syiar Nada Youtube channel.
