First Time Creating a Song in Indonesian, Verena Releases 'Hanya Sementara'

Kapanlagi.com - Indonesian musicians can always be counted on even though they are still young. One of them is Verena. She is a 21-year-old songwriter and producer who lives in Sydney. Not many people know that Verena has been singing since the age of 6.

She also started learning music production at the age of 18. Piano and guitar are her expertise. Last year, she released her debut EP titled 'Remember When I Called You Mine?' where she wrote, recorded, and produced the work herself.

She has just released a song titled 'Hanya Sementara' on December 10, 2021. This is the first song she has created in Indonesian. The song 'Hanya Sementara' itself has a pop vibe inspired by the works of Raisa and Yura Yunita.

Verena collaborated with Erikson Jayanto as the producer for this song. Erikson Jayanto is a session player and producer who often collaborates with local singers such as Ghea Indrawari, The Overtunes, and Ardhito Pramono.
