Hitadewi Abhassara Wins First Place in the Spring Melody Cup Competition in China

Kapanlagi.com - Extraordinary achievements were once again attained by Hitadewi Abhassara at the end of 2024. After previously winning the Miss Chinese Indonesia pageant in September 2024, Hita, as she is affectionately called, has now secured first place in the prestigious singing competition, the Spring Melody Cup, in Nanning, China, on December 30, 2024.

This competition began with the preliminary rounds on November 9 until early December 2024. Hita passed through to the semifinals in Indonesia with the highest score, which involved eight judges from China, one of whom is the Director of Hunan TV. After that, she flew to China for the final round accompanied by her mother.

“This event not only seeks talented singers in arts and culture but also serves as a celebration of art, friendship, and collaboration between two countries with a long history in diplomatic relations,” said Mr. Hardynatta, Program Director of the Spring Melody Cup in Indonesia.

A total of 178 participants from 30 cities in Indonesia took part in this prestigious event. The final event was held at Studio 8, Nanning International Broadcasting Center, Guangxi, China. This competition has become one of the transnational Gala Spring Festival programs produced by more than 15 countries around the world.

The judges who provided evaluations include Zhang Chao, Director of External Promotion Projects at the Nanning International Broadcasting Center; He Qing, Vice Chairman of the Nanning Pop Music Association; and Liu Yang, music and recording producer at the Nanning Media Center.

The General Chairman of the Indonesian Chinese Association (INTI), Mr. Teddy Sugianto, who was also present at the final event, expressed deep appreciation. “This competition is not just an art festival, but also a symbol of friendship between Indonesia and China. Through song, we convey emotions; through cultural exchange, we together write a better future,” he said.

As a talented young singer, Hitadewi's achievements do not stop here. In celebration of the Lunar New Year, she has received an invitation to perform at the Lunar New Year Gala Dinner organized by the Chinese Embassy in Indonesia. Additionally, she will also perform at the KCIC Halim event and the Cap Go Meh event, which will be attended by officials from DKI Jakarta.
