Insufficient Preparation, Padi Reborn Has No Plans to Hold a Virtual Concert

Kapanlagi.com - During the Covid-19 pandemic, many things have been done by several bands or singers in Indonesia, and one of them is holding virtual concerts. However, this is not done by the music group Padi Reborn.

According to the guitarist, Piyu, Padi has tried to hold a virtual concert like other bands. However, because the preparation was not sufficient, it ended up being less than optimal.

"We have tried to hold a virtual concert, but it turns out our preparation was not sufficient. We have tried several times with different platforms, but it seems like we haven't reached our maximum potential," said Piyu during a virtual press conference on Friday (11/7/2020).

1. Release New Works

In addition to holding concerts, during the Covid 19 pandemic, Indonesian musicians continue to release new works. Not only songs, but some of them also create YouTube channels. So, are the members of Padi Reborn interested in creating a YouTube channel?

"Not yet. Because as a band, we are still focused on Padi's vlog. As for (YouTube channels) individually, we haven't thought about it yet," said the vocalist, Fadly.

2. Appearing on Television

Interestingly, instead of virtual concerts or creating YouTube channels, the members of Padi Reborn will now appear on television. The band that rose to fame with the song Sobat has a talk show on NET TV, titled Padi Reborn Sang Penghibur, starting from July 17, 2020 at 9:00 PM.

"We are grateful that when we have our own program, we can focus on what we do. It's like taking care of a newborn baby, so the responsibility is also huge," Piyu concluded.
