Through the Mini Album 'Sayap Patah', Zigaz Introduces the New Vocalist

Kapanlagi.com - The music group Zigaz is once again enlivening the Indonesian music industry. The band that rose to fame with the song 'Sahabat Jadi Cinta' is now presenting their new vocalist named Poetra.

The presence of Poetra as the new vocalist is expected to bring a fresh color to Zigaz's musical journey in the future.

"After a long hiatus, we have grown to run Zigaz with a new formation, so that the masses or netizens can accept and get to know the new vocalist," said Raindy, Zigaz's guitarist when met in Kemang, South Jakarta, on Wednesday (29/5/2024).

1. Two Months

Currently, Zigaz consists of Poetra (vocals), Raindy (guitar), Ary (guitar), and Rama (drums). With this lineup, Zigaz officially released a mini album or EP titled Sayap Patah on May 29, 2024, under the Didi Music label.

A series of Zigaz's hit songs are included in the EP Sayap Patah, such as Sahabat Jadi Cinta, Cinta Gila, Hidupku Hidupmu, and Kenanglah.

Meanwhile, one of their new songs titled Bagai Sayap Yang T'lah Patah was created by Poetra and Raindy. According to Poetra, EP Sayap Patah was worked on in two months after Zigaz officially joined Didi Music.

2. No Difficulty

"It was quick, only two months. Didi Music is great," said Poetra.

Poetra, as the new vocalist, did not find it difficult to sing Zigaz's songs. That's why the recording process for EP Sayap Patah went so smoothly.

"Every singer has their own style. Hopefully, this style will be beneficial, especially for the Zigaz family. There were no difficulties because they were very helpful," said Poetra.

3. Prepare Full Album

Together with Poetra, Zigaz has prepared several future plans. In addition to the EP tour "Sayap Patah" in several areas in Indonesia, Zigaz has also prepared a full album.

"We have prepared 10 new songs. Only three to five songs have arrangements," Raindy concluded.
