Kapanlagi.com - Ikhwan Hastanto, or better known as Awan, is known as a guitarist from More on Mumbles. Together with his vocalist and wife, Lintang, Awan is now part of Sony Music Entertainment Indonesia.
Behind his guitar playing skills, Awan is currently trying to learn vocalization. His intention is to learn how to sing in order to assist Lintang in some parts of the song. On some stages, Awan has already dared to showcase his ability to sing.
"I'm already a bit brave when singing on stage, but when recording, I'm not too confident. It's a pity for the operator who has to listen to my voice," said Awan while laughing.
"I'm still in the learning phase. The goal is to not sing off-key and disturb Lintang's voice hehehe," added the Lampung-born man.

The vocal world is not new to Awan. Although currently in the position of a guitarist, in the early stages of his musical journey during junior high school or SMP, Awan was a vocalist for his band even though he was not successful at the time.
"In junior high school, I formed a band and became the vocalist. At that time, I was bold because I didn't know what off-key meant. Eventually, our first performance was a total disaster. On the second performance, I switched to bass hahahaha," reminisced Awan.

Continuing to learn and not being ashamed to ask has become Awan's asset in developing his vocals. Fortunately, Awan has Lintang who is also willing to share knowledge.
"But according to Lintang, if you want to avoid being off-key, the important thing is to sing frequently. So, I'll give it a try now. Learning to sing like this will make More on Mumbles more flexible and create better works in the future," said Awan.
For those who are not familiar, Lintang and Awan are members of the duo More on Mumbles, who are currently preparing for their first single titled Good For You under the auspices of Sony Music Entertainment Indonesia. Good For You will be released on May 26, 2023, in various digital music stores.
