Known for Having Nationalism Spirit, Rock Band Tanah Air Project Will Tour Schools

Kapanlagi.com - The rock band Tanah Air Project, known for their sharp nationalism spirit in their works, will embark on a school tour titled 'Tanah Air Project Goes to School'. This tour will be held in five selected high schools in East Java, Central Java, and West Java.

The goal is to introduce their music and build and strengthen a sense of unity and nationalism among the younger generation. Each visited school will be presented with an energetic and passionate live performance from Tanah Air Project.

This is expected to be an opportunity for students to learn more about the meaning of nationalism through the spirit and music brought by the band.

1. Entertainment and Education

Ezekiel Rangga, who serves as the creative force in this band as a songwriter and producer for this project, hopes that through their music, the younger generation can learn more about the history and values of Indonesian nationalism.

"Our works are not just for entertainment, but also an education about the richness of culture and the spirit of patriotism that should be upheld," he said.

2. About Tanah Air Project

Tanah Air Project consists of Vialinda from Jogjakarta, Daniel Mantiri, Gerard Laisina, Ezekiel Rangga, and Ardika Prayudha from Jakarta. They have released six singles with nationalist themes such as 'Negeri Pemenang', 'Kandang Kita', 'Anak Indonesia', 'Hegemoni', 'Selamanya Kita', and 'Song Of Deliverance', all under the label Aquarius Musikindo.

Tanah Air Project is now increasingly recognized in the Indonesian music industry, often performing at prestigious events such as the National Cultural Week, Jakarta Fair Kemayoran, and the Godbless Retrospective Exhibition. Their collaboration this time with renowned session player, Wanda Omar, will add a special touch to this school tour.

3. Schedule of 'Tanah Air Project Goes to School' Tour

'Tanah Air Project Goes to School' is supported by the Directorate General of Culture of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia, BAHASO Education Institution, RizProd Equipment Malang, Q9 Production, Korg Indonesia, PDP Drum Indonesia, Bosphorus Cymbals, and Indonesiana TV.

This tour will visit SMK Muhammadiyah 5 Kepanjen (15/8), SMAN 1 Purworejo (16/8), SMK NU Kaplongan Indramayu (17/8), SMAN 2 Cirebon (18/9), and SMKN 7 Garut (19/8).
