The viewers are mostly new people who don't know who Weird Genius is. For musicians, it's appreciation because what they hear is purely the song, without looking for who the artist is. It's the opposite. We are happy that the music is being valued."

When asked further about his viral song on Tik Tok, Eka Gustiwana admitted that he never expected something like that. He also thanked the people who used his song as background music for their content.

"We didn't plan for it to be like that and we never made it that way. It means it's the initiative of the content creators and we appreciate it. We can't repay, we can only say thank you to them for using our song and the song is spreading even wider," he said.

So, what about the copyright of using the song Lathi on social media? Not bothered by that, Eka chooses to just relax as long as his work with Weird Genius is not misused.

"Oh yeah, we're very relaxed about it. As the creators, we're happy if the song is used as long as it's not pirated and released again with a different name. Because it's used for content, I don't think it's a problem. Just relax," he concluded.
