Launches Single 'M.I.A', Afgan Expresses Happiness to Collaborate with Jackson Wang, Member of GOT7

Kapanlagi.com - Afgan has just made a new breakthrough in his music career. He has just released a song titled M.I.A in collaboration with one of the members of GOT7, Jackson Wang. The singer of Terima Kasih Cinta said that collaborating with Jackson Wang is one of his dreams come true.

“I am a big fan of Jackson Wang and he inspires me to grow,” said Afgan in a press statement received by Kapanlagi.com.

Afgan also shared the story of how he first met Jackson Wang when they performed together at an event in South Korea in 2019.

“It all started when we met backstage at an event in Seoul, South Korea, in 2019. We discussed the possibility of working together,” Afgan revealed.

2. Talking About Music

Admiring each other and discussing music, they finally decided to collaborate.

"We talked a lot about music over the phone. We thought it would be fun if we collaborated," said Jackson Wang.

3. Recording Process

Co-written with Benny Mayne and Emily Vaughn and produced by Tha Aristocrats, M.I.A talks about someone's conviction to not leave the person they love and to stay by their side. As for the recording process of this song, they did it separately. Afgan recorded at EMPIRE studio in the United States.

"There is no personal story behind M.I.A. But, the process of making this song was very enjoyable and it's a big part of my exploration in the upcoming album. We can dance while listening to this song and I think the world needs more songs like this," concluded Afgan.
