Led by Celebrity Children, Will the Gorgeous 5 Band Continue After Performing at the 29th Indosiar Anniversary?

Kapanlagi.com - Dul Jaelani, along with Betrand Peto, Kiesha Alvaro, Zara Leola, and Aisha Keem, have joined forces to form a band called Gorgeous 5.

Gorgeous 5, consisting of children of prominent Indonesian artists and musicians, also enlivened the celebration of Indosiar's 29th anniversary, which took place on January 10 and 11, 2024.

In this band, Betrand Peto is the son of Ruben Onsu, Dul Jaelani is the son of Ahmad Dhani, Kiesha Alvaro is the son of Pasha Ungu, Zara Leola is the daughter of Enda Ungu, and Aisha Keem is the daughter of Irfan Hakim.

"So, this Gorgeous 5 band consists of five Indonesian artist children, who are united in a band, it's really exciting. This is my first time meeting them," said Dul Jaelani in a virtual interview on Tuesday (9/1/2024).

Dul revealed that he is responsible for the drums in this band. Kiesha plays the guitar, while Aisha Keem and Zara Leola serve as vocalists, and other musical instruments are played by Betrand Peto.

"Dul forced me to play the guitar, even though I'm still learning. But oh well, I just went with it," said Kiesha Alvaro.

"Yesterday we already had a dress rehearsal and practiced together. Kiesha is also good at playing the guitar and the others can also play other musical instruments," added Dul Jaelani.

2. Gorgeous 5 Band Challenge

Dul and Kiesha mentioned that Gorgeous 5 will perform some hits from great Indonesian musicians, although they choose to keep it a secret.

"One of them is a dangdut song. We will dangdut together in the band concept, which will also collaborate with the Magic 5 soap opera cast," explained Dul Jaelani.

Despite being older, Dul Jaelani stated that the biggest challenge for them is building chemistry in a short time and the rare opportunity for them to meet.

"It's difficult to build chemistry. Because the preparation is short and the meetings are rare, we keep trying to create a formula to get the chemistry, that's the challenge," explained Dul Jaelani.

3. Will It Continue?

Kiesha Alvaro revealed that this was her first meeting with Dul Jaelani when they joined the Gorgeous 5 band project. However, she felt that their adaptation went smoothly because Dul, Al Ghazali's brother, was very open.

"Dul is the oldest in this band. But it's not at all awkward, it just flows because we're both professionals," said Kiesha Alvaro.

Meanwhile, Kiesha Alvaro and Aisha Keem do not rule out the possibility that the Gorgeous 5 band will continue after this event, because they feel that their performances have successfully mesmerized the audience.

"As for me, I'm okay if this band wants to continue," concluded Kiesha Alvaro.
