Momo opened up about the toughest challenges she faced after a long hiatus from the music world. The former vocalist of Geisha admitted to having lost her confidence due to past trauma.
"To be honest, I felt a lack of confidence for quite some time. Because I never talked about what happened with the group before," said Momo when met in Bekasi on Wednesday (29/7/2026).
"The previous incident really traumatized me. I felt like I was discarded back then. So I thought, 'Am I not worth that much?'," Momo continued.
The feeling of trauma slowly began to fade thanks to the support from the team that invited him to collaborate again. One encouraging sentence was said to be a turning point for his self-confidence.
"Because of the encouragement given, 'there are still many people waiting for Momo.' Those words made his self-confidence increase, it emerged, because it overcame this trauma," said Momo.
In addition to the team that invited him to collaborate, Momo's greatest support actually came from his closest people. "Friends. So when they always comment, whether on my social media, or on my group's social media or YouTube. Family. Family support is definitely number one," explained Momo.
Momo also clarified the news that has been circulating about her being said to be forbidden from singing after getting married and taking on the role of a housewife. "There is definitely no prohibition as maybe the rumors that have been circulating, saying I am forbidden to sing is actually not true. But I am told, my duty has become a wife and mother, there must be limitations that need to be considered, which priorities must be arranged," concluded Momo.
