25 Years of Work, Radja Promises a Concert Without Distance with the Audience

The band Radja will hold a concert titled "Radja 25 Years of Work: Celebrating 25th Mahakarya" in August 2026. This concert is a celebration of Radja's 25-year career, to be held at Bengkel Hall, SCBD, South Jakarta, on August 20, 2026, and promoted by Hype Live.

Radja's vocalist, Ian Kasela, revealed that this time the concert concept is intentionally designed to be different from previous Radja concerts. He wants to create a more intimate and nostalgic atmosphere with fans.

"So indeed, when we look at a concert, the term concert is definitely grand, right? But here we try to build, that's why at the beginning I mentioned this is an attempt to flashback, to be nostalgic, and to try to be more intimate," said Ian Kasela when met in Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta, on Monday (27/7/2026).

Ian added that for 25 years of working, Radja has not really been close to their audience on stage. Therefore, he wants to know more about how fans perceive Radja's musical journey."Because we want to know more deeply how far friends, the public in particular, can connect without distance with Radja after 25 years of their career," Ian said.

Other Radja personnel, Moldy, also explained that the concept of the "concert without distance" was inspired by one of Radja's song titles. For him, the presentation of this concert will be much closer to the audience."Yes, it means that the title of Radja's song is 'I Am Here Because You Are Here'. So how can we make this concert, this concert without distance, without any concept? The title can be a concert but in the presentation of the concert, I want us to be as close as possible," said Moldy.

Moldy also said that the audience will be given the opportunity to request songs live on stage, making the concert atmosphere more interactive. "So I want it to be by request as well. If it's done TikTok style, I’ll give 15 seconds of the song as long as it comes to life. So to what extent they know Radja's songs, to what extent they can sing along, reminiscing with Radja," said Moldy.

At the end of the session, Ian emphasized that the audience who did not attend this concert would miss a moment of togetherness that cannot be felt through a regular concert. "So the point is for friends who cannot attend, who do not come, it’s really a loss. Seriously," said Ian Kasela.

In the concert, Radja is scheduled to perform about 18 popular songs.
