Kenny Austin Responds to Allegations of Amanda Manopo Being Cursed by Former Employee

Actress Amanda Manopo reported her former employee to the South Jakarta Metro Police regarding allegations of embezzlement that are said to have harmed her by nearly Rp3 billion. Not only that, there are rumors that her employee also performed curses.

Kenny Austin spoke up about the curse issue that was previously revealed by his wife, Amanda Manopo. Amanda previously claimed to have been cursed by her own former employee, who is suspected of intending to separate her household from Kenny.

"Yes, this is why it is being processed (by the police)," said Kenny Austin in Cisauk, Tangerang Regency, Sunday (26/7/2026).

Kenny revealed that the witchcraft practiced by the former employee had no effect on his wife. In fact, he said that it has now backfired on the person who did it. "It doesn't affect her, he said. It actually boomerangs on the person themselves now. The person is affected," said Kenny.

When asked about his beliefs in mystical matters, Kenny chose not to comment much. He emphasized that he only believes in one faith in living his life. "No comment. But for sure, I believe in God Jesus, that's it," said Kenny.

Kenny also confirmed the indication of malicious intent from the former employee who tried to separate his household from Amanda. According to him, the motive became clearer after the case of alleged embezzlement committed by the same person was uncovered.

"Well, now it's all exposed, right? There has been embezzlement and all sorts of things. So, just think for yourself why the intention was to separate? Yeah, because (so it wouldn't) be exposed. Just like that," explained Kenny.

Kenny admitted that the incident occurred at an inappropriate time, namely when Amanda was heavily pregnant with Baby Zac. He emphasized that he tried to be patient to maintain his wife's condition at that time.

"Just trying to be patient. Although from the beginning it was quite heated. But because at that time Amanda was also pregnant, so I just followed what my wife said. Now, I just started to feel like I’m starting to counter it," concluded Kenny.
